Exploring the opportunities on the Internet for sharing over the years, I now find that I have used various usernames. Some are variations around Mary Hart or Kiha, a family name, but they all belong to me.

Audio by Virginia Harris, entitled "Today’s Lesson from a Loving Father"

Holding the wrong image of a father? Click the title link above and on the player on the page (wait until it loads, if you don't see it immediately) to hear Virgina Harris, C.S.B., tell of a loving Father, based on the Jesus' Parable of the Prodigal Son (Luke 15:11-32). Hold these ideas that she shares, and let them blot out the image of error, and bring healing.

Blot out the images of mortal thought and its beliefs in sickness and sin. Then, when thou art delivered to the judgment of Truth, Christ, the judge will say, "Thou art whole!" (Science and Health 391:3, by Mary Baker Eddy).

A Healing of Broken Neck Injury from Serious Auto Accident Recounted

Deep appreciation for Christian Science nursing care after serious accident:

The above links to a wonderful account of Susan Breuer's experience of God's presence and all-power to heal her of serious injury from an automobile accident. It is on spirituality.com.  (I found it originally from a link on Eric Nelson's website entitled, "Science, Theology, and Medicine.")

It reminded me of the experience of Virginia Harris, who also relied entirely upon God, through Christian Science, as she faced the consequences of a serious automobile accident.  To read her riveting and enlightening account, which appeared in the Christian Science Journal in April, 2002, when she was Chairman of the Christian Science Board of Directors, click here.

These two accounts provide convincing evidence and proofs of Christian Science.  They help others to understand why Christian Scientists choose to rely entirely upon God in life-threatening situations.

The link to my own testimony, when my two children were hit by an automobile at the bottom of a hill while riding their bikes, is on the left-hand (PAGES) column of this page, entitled, "Testimony:  Dangerous Collision."

I just realized that I have yet to write another testimony, that of a time when my Cadillac was totalled after being hit from behind and into an oncoming car in another lane.  (The driver was a real estate agent who had been looking down in her book.)

Health Care Reform needs to be adjusted to include spiritual care

Should Health Care Reform Include Spiritual Care?

The link takes you to an article by Don Ingwerson, media and legislative representative for Christian Science in Southern California, where I first came upon it. He borrowed it with permission from http://www.norcalchristianscience.com/, a website by Eric Nelson, entitled, "Science, Theology and Medicine." This latter link is a good place to keep current on efforts to include Christian Science care in the health care legislation.

If Christian Scientists are required to pay for health care insurance by Federal mandate, they should benefit also, like the rest of those under the law, by being reimbursed for payments to Christian Science practitioners and nurses, (perhaps aides, as well, for in-home services), and care facilities. The evidence of the effectiveness of Christian Science care fills tomes in Christian Science Reading Rooms around the world.

There is need for continual diligence to pray for adjustment in this matter. God's Law of Adjustment must be invoked, and it shall prevail.

Make a difference, "Take A Stand"

I just came upon a feature in the Christian Science Monitor that I appreciate. It tells about specific people who make a difference in the world. This link takes you to another post, entitled, "Take a Stand," that leads one to this feature.

By the way, did you know that October 22 is "Make a Difference" Day? Here's more about it: http://bit.ly/mYNHEG. I just learned about it when I typed in the query, "make a difference." (A lot of results came up!)
