Knowledge of "real" time, that is, NOW, brings immediacy to practice of Christian Science

Click the link below for a lively and informative talk on how the speaker, David Hohle, has used his certain knowledge of the unreality of time to bring immediacy to his practice of Christian Science.

I just came across a video on Don Ingwerson's website of David Hohle telling how he overcame a cold while traveling with his motorcycle:  Click here.

Reading my Poetry for EXSE Spoken Word 2014

I finally got to upload my video of my reading my poetry of 2014 to my Youtube channel.  Please click here for it, if the above doesn't work.

The first poem tells how I noticed my Peach Tree had budded in February, and how I cared for it throughout the winter--bringing it into the garage, next to the running clothes dryer, when the icycles appeared one day.  Taking it out as soon as the next sunny day came along.  In and out, as the weather dictated.  Until the flowers came and dropped, revealing the fruit in each place.

The rest of the poems are inspirational, and are based on my understanding, at the time, of the writings of Mary Baker Eddy, the Discoverer and Founder of Christian Science, who opened the door of understanding God as pure, unconditional Love, and the power to meet all human need when understood.

The Spiritual Idea

I did a search of "the spiritual idea" in all of Mary Baker Eddy's writings on the website of the first link below, and reflected by Diigo in the second link.

This is my first use of this search facility, so I cannot claim perfection for it, other than to note that I believe it offers a valuable service in good faith. (I haven't checked the results against a concordance to see if they are complete.)

I selected out of the results of the search, the audio and transcript of "A Christmas Sermon," by Mary Baker Eddy, Discoverer, Founder, and Forever Leader of Christian Science, since we're not far from this holy season of Christmas and it still resonates in consciousness.  To me, the message is powerful in bringing out the duality of Christ Jesus--the distinction between the good perceptible through Jesus' works of teaching and healing in his day and the good that is the immortal nature of the impersonal, incorporeal Christ, Truth and is always present to be experienced today by anyone willing to let go of cherished beliefs that obstruct it.  A CHRISTMAS SERMON, by Mary Baker Eddy
SUBJECT: The Corporeal and Incorporeal Saviour
TEXT: For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given:  and the government shall be upon his shoulder: and his name shall be called Wonderful, Counsellor,
The mighty God, The everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace. -- ISAIAH ix. 6.
